Code of Conduct

Ethical and responsible business policy

Our company firmly believes that we should not only meet the expectations of our customers and consumers, but exceed them. We have therefore adopted guidelines that ensure the safety, quality and integrity of our products and business processes, and are committed to respecting the rights of individuals and the environment. We have set ourselves the goal of complying with all (local) laws and regulations and doing business only in an ethical and professional manner.

 

 

Law & regulation

We undertake to comply with all (local and national) laws and regulations applicable to our industry, especially with regard to product safety and the environment. We will comply with all voluntary standards set by our industry for products and business processes.

No child labour

We do not tolerate child labour. We will comply with all provisions set on minimum age.

No forced labour

We do not tolerate any form of forced labour, which involves physical and/or mental abuse or any other form of physical and/or mental punishment.

Workshop conditions

We will ensure a safe and healthy working environment. We will comply with all set (local) laws and regulations on health and safety in the workplace.

Freedom of association

We recognise and respect the freedom of our employees to associate and join a trade union. If employees are represented by an organisation, recognised for local legislation, we respect their freedom to bargain collectively.

No exploitation, discrimination and/or harassment

Under no circumstances will we tolerate the exploitation of (vulnerable) individuals or groups, any form of discrimination and/or intimidation.

Working hours

We strive to comply with all applicable laws and regulations on salary, working hours, hiring policies, fringe benefits and overtime.

General

In the absence of unambiguous local laws and regulations regarding product safety, the environment or working and employment conditions, the spirit of these provisions should be acted upon.

Subcontractors and suppliers

The Code of Conduct is an integral part of our day-to-day business processes and we will put in place all that is necessary to achieve these policy objectives. We will only do business with partners who are like-minded and respect ethical, professional and responsible business practices. All partners, must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and we will inform them of our code of conduct. We expect our business partners to organise their business processes in such a way that we can comply with our policy.
